Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently opened up on how his role was chopped off in his idol Kamal Haasan’s film which left him devastated. The actor was a struggle back then and would take up any small role that came along his way. While talking to Spotboye, the Gangs of Wasseypur actor opened up on his struggling days and how he was offered a role in Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hema Malini and Rani Mukerji starrer Hey Ram. Siddiqui revealed that he thought it would be a small role but it had turned out to a good role and that he was pretty excited for the same. “It was actually a substantial role. I was supposed to be this victim of a mob attack whom Kamalji rescues. Years later he got a part of his diction coach for Abhay (Alavandhan in Tamil). “This time I was only his Hindi voice coach. No role was offered to me. I wait for the day when Kamalji offers me another role,” added the actor before signing off.
