Guyanese culture in the spotlight
The episode sheds light on Guyanese culture in multiple ways. The beginning of the story takes place in particular in full Touloulous ball. This typical character of Guyanese Creole culture is revealed with the appearance of many disguised and masked women who stroll in the evening in the streets of the city. The frenzied music and lascivious dances are linked throughout the evening to lead to the discovery of the inanimate body of a biologist in the early morning.
A mystery difficult to elucidate
After the discovery of this body, the interrogations and avenues to explore will multiply for the police duo. An investigation moreover complicated by the presence of strange scarifications on the torso of the victim who, initially slaughtered, was also found with a mysterious enigma engraved on the skin. The search for the meaning of this inverted triangle and these two circles on the torso will then become just as important as the search for the killer.
