A busker who went viral on TikTok wowed the judges on tonight’s The Voice UK.
Leona Jorgensen, from Sheffield, became an internet sensation when she started filming herself performing while out busking on the streets.
Her first busking video, which has had over 79,000 views on TikTok, shows the 26-year-old singing one of her original songs called Savage Girl.
Leona has also performed covers by Justin Beiber, Ella Eyre and Drake.
Her latest video shows the singer performing Take a Bow by Rihanna.
Despite making a name for herself on TikTok, Leona hopes to take her career one step further by auditioning on The Voice.
Luckily for her, she did get a turn by Anne-Marie who was particularly impressed with her performance.
‘I’ve actually watched you on the internet for a little while,’ Anne-Marie told her.
‘Wait, are you on the internet?’ Will.i.am chipped in.
To which Leona replied: ‘Instagram and TikTok and stuff like that.
‘I busk for a living.’
‘I was praying no one else was going to turn,’ the 2002 singer laughed.
‘Leona, it was a fantastic performance,’ Olly Murs told her.
‘I accepted defeat behind the chair because your voice is in the same lane as Anne-Marie and I thought this was a mini Anne-Marie here.’
‘It’s a perfect match between you two,’ he added.
We can’t wait to see what Leona does next!
The Voice continues on ITV on Saturdays at 8.30pm.
