EXCLUSIVE: Suryaputra Mahavir Karna: Chiyaan Vikram opts out for THIS reason; Makers to cast a B town actor

Suriyaputra Mahavir Karna’s motion poster was released by the makers today along with the film’s official logo.

In an exciting announcement, it has been revealed that a magnum opus is on the cards which will narrate the story of Mahabharata’s unsung hero, Mahavir Karna. The film will be an epic tale that will show the story from the perspective of Suryaputra Mahavir Karna. Bringing this story alive for the first time ever on the big screen are producers Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani. It has been learnt exclusively by us that this is the same project that was earlier announced with Vikram on board as the lead actor.

However, since the actor dropped out of the film, the makers are revamping it with a different set of cast members. A little birdie told us that the film will have a Bollywood actor on board as the main lead. It has been learnt that Chiyaan Vikram opted out as he is associated with yet another historic drama with Mani Ratnam titled as Ponniyin Selvan. It has been revealed by the makers that the film will be envisioned on an unparalleled scale with benchmark visual effects. The multilingual project is written and directed by R S Vimal.

The makers have also roped in India’s celebrated poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas to pen the dialogues, lyrics and additional screenplay of the film. This film marks Dr. Vishwas’ debut association. Suryaputra Mahavir Karna will be made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The makers have announced the film officially with an intense motion poster and revealed the film’s logo.
