Fianna Fáil support continues to plunge after new poll results revealed

A new Red C opinion poll has seen support for Fianna Fáil plunge yet again.

The party dropped three points from 16% to 13% in the latest opinion poll, conducted for the Sunday Business Post by Red C.

Sinn Féin have now joined Fine Gael as the most popular party in Ireland.

Their rise of three points from 36% to 39% will be pleasing to Mary Lou McDonald.

Leo Varadkar will also be happy with his party staying at the 39% from the previous poll in January.

Support for the Social Democrats has risen one point to 6%, while Labour are at 4%.

The Green Party, who are the third party in Government, has dropped two points to 3%.

Solidarity – People Before Profit have also dropped down to 2%, one point lower than the poll in January.

Aontu haven’t moved from the 2% mark they were at last month.

The Independents/Other section sits at 12%.

Around 55 per cent of voters believe that the government needs to be doing “far more” to speed up the vaccination process.
