An Garda Síochána have confirmed that three of the men who were arrested in relation to a shooting incident that took place yesterday (6 March) in Bluebell have since been released.
Gardaí have said that three of the men who were arrested earlier today (7 March) in relation to a shooting incident in Bluebell have since been released without charge.
One man, however, remains detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
“Investigations are ongoing,” a Garda spokesperson confirmed.
Four men were arrested earlier today in relation to the shooting in Bluebell, Dublin 8, in which one woman in her 30s was injured.
She was rushed to St James’ Hospital with “serious” injuries and is currently thought to be in “critical” condition.
A man, also in his 30s, later presented himself at St James’s Hospital with gunshot wounds. He is also understood to be in a serious condition.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information in relation to this incident to come forward.
